We lost again. As usual. I guess it was predictable, really - we've lost ever since Scarboy came - why would it be different this year?
Well, at least some of the Gryffindors are in the infirmary now..

So it turned out as a good thing that I went to the ball. It is such a shame for the people who said things they did not intend to (or, in fact, truly intended to - without admitting it under normal circumstances). It's very mysterious - who'd do such a cruel and amusing thing? It's quite a statement at an Inter-House Unity Ball, isn’t it? It’s quite the lucky coincidence, really - I've always disliked punch. Unfortunately the school never has anything truly good. It’s always pumpkin juice and punch. It’s so very boring I might just fall asleep.
Now that was the most entertaining thing that has happened around here for quite a while. Too bad such things happen so rarely.
Back to the Astronomy homework.

I have finally found a corner of the castle where I'm not constantly disturbed by children - thank Merlin. I can survive the fact that it takes quite a long time to walk there when it keeps me away from the noisy idiots called "children". Maybe I should've gotten Millicent a gift for her birthday. I completely forgot, though, and I guess it's too late now. Not like it makes any difference to anyone.

It's horrible about Beauxbatons, yes. So very horrible that I'll avoid thinking about it. Was that too obvious? Then again: who cares?

Being back here is better than ever before - even though the first years are more annoying than ever before (my theory is true - they do get stupider and stupider for every year) they're not as annoying as the twins.
I swear one of the first years are stupider than the lot of them put together, or he's stalking me. As I was sitting in a random hallway in the dungeons this stupid firstie turns up, bawling his eyes out because he was lost. I told him the general direction and he was off. Two hours later he was back, still lost. I wasted a lot of time explaining where he should turn, to get rid of him, only to have him return half an hour later. I showed him the way the third time he showed up. Yes, I am extremely humane, I know. I suspect it's in the idiot's genes. He could be a Half-blood or one of his parents could be. If people would just bloody stop marrying Muggles the first years would probably be a lot more intelligent.
It is, in fact very exasperating that those stupid children can't just get a bloody map. Why haven't anyone made one of those, to make sure the dim-witted first years wouldn't disturb the studies of their superiors the older students.
The fact that this is better than home actually gives quite a good picture of exactly how annoying the twins are.

O.W.L.s arrived, and this means that I actually have something to write about in this compooter thing. Aside from the minor detail that I have no wish to do so, that is.
Arithmancy: O Astronomy: E Charms: A Defence Against the Dark Arts: E Herbology: P History of Magic: O Potions: E Study of Ancient Runes: O Transfiguration: A
I am not entirely satisfied with my results, and I obviously did better than E's for Astronomy and Potions. Mama says that she's proud of me. Father has not shown any interest. The twins tried drooling on my papers. Oh how I hate children.
Draco's having a party tonight, apparently. I would probably not be allowed to go, but I am not inclined to go, actually, as I just bought a new book: Why Muggles Have No Idea What Aritmancy Is About, and it's actually quite interesting.

I have no idea why any one would ever want children. They are the most annoying things to have around. Always making noise.
It has turned out that Edgar is the quiet twin, though. I do wish it was the other way around, as Marie-Lynn’s voice is quite alike the shriek of a banshee. Then again, I’d rather they were both quiet. Or not here at all.
Aside trying to avoid my siblings I spend most of my time reading, as usual. I think a trip to Diagon Alley for more books is needed quite soon and not just because I want new books. It’ll be rather nice to get out of the house.

What an amusing dramatic way to end fifth year.
I am wondering how such a thing could happen. Aside the obvious reason - Dumbledore is senile. Shouldn't there be more security? No matter, it won't change anything, luckily.
I don't really know anything about the wounded and dead ones yet - I hope they got some Mudbloods and Muggles.
I have safely returned home. The stupid bloody annoying brats twins are sweet (Mama says so, anyway). I think I can agree to that - if only in small doses of half a minute. When near them for more, I want to drop them on the floor, headfirst.

I am not looking forward at all to going home this Friday. Babies are annoying and we don’t even have a big library to distract me from their existing. Luckily we have some books Hogwarts doesn’t. I suppose I can read them a couple of times each, then.
Career advice is a subject I’d rather not talk about – I’d prefer to keep studying, but to be what, in the end? I have no idea. Good thing it’s career advice, then.

I have finally found time to write on this thing. I am certain my Potions OWL went quite alright. It was easier than I expected, actually. But, as always, when you're prepared everything is easier. So instead of making a scene, some people should just have studied instead. My next OWL is Astronomy, then. I am quite glad I didn't choose Care of Magical Creatures in third year - that leaves more time to study for the more important OWLs.

Apparently Viktor Krum have gotten himself one of these things. Couldn't he just have stayed away? Those Gryffindor girls' giggling makes my head hurt. Then again - had it not been him, it would probably be someone else they giggled over. How annoying - can't they find something intelligent to spend their time on!? And Gilderoy Lockhart too, it seems. Luckily no one's giggling over him. That would be rather disturbing too. Not only is he irritatingly self-absorbed, he is also insane. How wonderful.
